My name is Hannah and I would like to give you a little background about Bread of The Earth Ministries and myself.
Presently,
I am on the church staff at First Assembly of God, 502 N. 38th Street, Killeen, Texas. At this particular time, I am
'attempting' to teach Biblical Hebrew. We are in the very basic stage and, of course, the goal is for the 'Talmidim'
[students], to be able to read the TORAH, first five books of Moses [Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Deutoronomy Numbers]
in the Biblical Hebrew. Please read more about our classes at
Calendar of Events. .
You will see some of my links on this website that direct you to Native American, Jewish and
Adoption sites. The reason for this is that I am Cherokee, Jewish and was adopted at 3 years of age. Now, rewinding backwards...
In 1989 while living in California, I was reading the scriptures, when Luke 4:18 seemed to 'jump out' at me. It was
then I realized why Jesus came and also what I would be doing.
Earlier, in 1987, I said to God 'Hineni', a Hebrew
phrase meaing, 'here I am, send me', and so He did. For four years, my youngest son, Ricky, and I lived in shelters around
the country. It was a 'field ministry'.
God knew I needed to know the shelter system from the perspective of the those
who lived there. Those who had to cope with their new environment, despite all the other problems they had. It was a challenge,
but one thing I know is that He never gives us more than we can handle.
There was another reason why we were in the
shelters...to be a 'witness' and to be able to empathize with those who have been in that situation. Also, I was able to deliver
a message to 'the people' that God gave me in 1987 and again in 1992.
He said...
"Tell the people
the time is short" and again in 1992, "Tell the people the time is short and to prepare to leave this country".
Now,
I know that it is time to 'prepare' the people. I wondered how to do this and now I know where I belong in the Body of Christ
and what my I am supposed to be doing. It is really great when you know what your job is. One way I am helping people to 'prepare'
is by learning Biblical Hebrew and participating in our Torah Class. You can read more about this class by clicking
on the
Calendar of Events page.
There is a lot to accomplish and the time is short. Pray that the Lord sends in laborers to the fields for truly, 'the
harvest is ready'.
If you have the same or a similar vision that I have and would like 'talk', please contact me.
